Courtney Roberts is the Marketing and Communications coordinator for the Dream Team, where she supports consumer survivors who advocate for more supportive housing while working to decrease the stigma associated with mental health and addiction issues. She is a member of the Rights to Housing Coalition and has produced short documentaries on key health issues that affect consumer survivors like; Structural Violence and the Social Determinants of Health. She currently sits on the Fund Development committee of Houselink Community Homes constantly seeking ways to raise funds in support of the agency’s mission to end homelessness and provide long-term solutions to those living with mental health and addiction issues. Apart from her work in the mental health field, she is a passionate community leader. Her work includes leading empowerment initiatives for minority youth and families in the Malvern community and work with Julliette’s Place women’s shelter where she sat on the Board of Directors for five years. Courtney continues her development work with Access Employment as mentor to newcomers facing barriers to employment.
