Carol Robertson Baker is Alberta’s fifth Mental Health Patient Advocate. She comes to this role at the Office of the Alberta Health Advocates: Mental Health with over 30 years of experience in the addictions and mental health fields. Before joining the Mental Health Advocate office in 2004, Carol served as the Provincial Patient Representative for the former Alberta Mental Health Board, where she designed and led the delivery of a concerns resolution and commendation process for facilities and mental health clinics across Alberta. Carol received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Education from the University of Calgary.
